Switch On: The 2008 ADZU ICT Week

The Computer Science Department and its student organization, Ateneo Informatics and Computing Guild (AICG) will be celebrating its ICT Week on March 10 to 15, 2008. This year’s celebration is dubbed as “Switch On” as we aim to activate Information Technology promotion in the city. To accomplish this goal, we will be conducting seminars, technology display, ICT Quiz Bowl and Digital Art Exhibit.

Binibining/Ginoong Alan Turing Mechanics and Guidelines

I.  Who are qualified to join?
Any bonafide member of the Ateneo Informatics and Computing Guild

II. The Search
The search has two rounds, the elimination and the final.

•    Elimination: This round is a written exam.  Those who will score 70% or higher will qualify for the final round.
•    Final Round: This round is a question-and-answer round.  There will be 20 questions only. The one that will score the highest will win the search.

No runners-up will be awarded.

III. Content
The questions will involve problem solving and programming.

Cash prize and certificate will be awarded to the winner.  Finalists will also be given a certificate of participation.

Ateneo Informatics and Computing Guild (AICG) is the student arm of the Computer Science Departmetn of Ateneo de Zamboanga University. It aims to empower students through skills enhancement and involvement in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
